Guildwars is unplayable due to lag. some suggest a problem in germany, i would tend towards anet downgrading their servers, this is unacceptable as it has been in effect for weeks. i'd think for anet to fix it they'd need to spend a bit of cash. now consider this "accessible to players who own both the expansion and any one of the three previously released Guild Wars campaigns" taken from GW official site describing GW:EN this shows anet wont be gaining many new customers with this release making current HAPPY customers vital to its success. if anet want to allow this game to slide into freezing, kicking ppl off and 30k ping FINE, they just might not get the sales they'd hope from their new release..

Fix it NOW.

this goes so far beyond moronitis i am speechless,,,,almost

in case you missed it not long go they shut down the servers for part of a day moving into a new building with a major server upgrade not downgrade.

Fact: Anet has your money.

Fact: People are going to buy GW:EN even if it keeps lagging.

Fact: Making this topic wont help

Fact: Not buying GW:EN wont help

Fact: Quitting Guild Wars will not help.

If anet wants to fix the lag, they will do it. If not, they have your money. They couldn't care less if you ever play again. Complain all you want... you are wasting your time and nobody cares. If every single player quit Guild Wars because of the lag... it wouldn't affect them at all. GW 2 is catering to a whole new audience (traditional MMO fans), and thus plenty of people will be opening their wallets for Anet... whether it is you or a new guy.

Isnt there a maintance coming soon? I had bad lag yesterday but not the worse I've had. I think anet has a bundle of tricks up its sleeve for eye of the north , im seeings loads of changes and upgrades , if not im seeing more ranting , if we dont get either something has gone wrong in the masterplan!
